I am the Director of Therapy Operations at New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland (NERHP) and the program leader of NERHP’s Joint Commission Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Program. Along with being a member of our rehabilitation hospital’s administration, I enjoy continuing to provide direct patient care and mentoring staff in regards to neurological rehabilitation. I have been a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurological Physical Therapy since 2006. Over the course of my 19 years of practice, fifteen of those have been in inpatient rehabilitation. I am passionate about the coordination of stroke care provided by the interdisciplinary team, the use rehab technology, and the patient/family education we provide that allows patients to return to the community after experiencing a stroke.
